PRANAYAMA IN PERSPECTIVE - PHILIP XERRI

Come and join Philip in this 2 hour flowing Yoga session focussing on the progressive practice of Pranayama that will run through five distinct phases – Foundations, Developmental, Alignment, Purification and Classical.

The emphasis will be on experiencing the gradual incline from the very beginnings of Basic Breathing, right up to and including some of the Classical Pranayamas.

Interspersed throughout will be related practices that will include Pranayama Kriyas, Mudras and Relaxations.

There will also be an initial emphasis on developing the physical components of breathing through Asana and Movement which aim to maximise breathing potentials and introduce ‘flexibility’ into the breathing mechanism.

Students should be practicing yoga for a minimum of 2 years.
